Terms of Service
Effective date: June 25, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sweep the Slate website at sweeptheslate.com and the Sweep the Slate browser extension (together, the "Service"), operated by Sweep the Slate ("Sweep the Slate," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, installing the extension, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
Sweep the Slate is a personal organization and analytics tool for fantasy sports drafters. It helps you track your own draft entries, exposures, and lineups across many drafts, and the extension surfaces information about your own drafts while you use a supported fantasy platform in your browser. The extension is passive: it observes information that your own browser already receives during your own sessions and organizes it for you. It does not place picks, enter contests, or take any action on a fantasy platform on your behalf.
Sweep the Slate is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Underdog Fantasy, DraftKings, or any other fantasy or gaming operator. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is a tracking and analytics tool only — it is not a gambling, wagering, or real-money gaming service, and we do not offer contests or accept wagers.
3. Your account
You need an account to use most features. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts are for a single user — see Section 6. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
- Access to the extension requires a paid subscription. Pricing is shown at checkout. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g. monthly) and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms.
- You can cancel anytime from the customer portal (the "Manage subscription" link on the Extension Installation page). When you cancel, your access continues until the end of the current billing period and then ends; you are not charged again.
- Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or periods of non-use.
- Promotional or early-bird pricing applies only as described at the time of purchase. We may change pricing for new or renewing subscriptions on reasonable notice; changes do not affect the period you have already paid for.
5. Third-party platforms and your responsibility
Fantasy platforms such as Underdog Fantasy and DraftKings have their own terms of use. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of any tool, including Sweep the Slate, complies with the terms of the platforms you use. Those platforms may change, restrict, or block third-party tools at any time, and may take action against accounts at their discretion. We do not control those platforms and cannot guarantee that the Service will remain compatible with them or available without interruption.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share, sublicense, resell, or provide access to your account or the extension to anyone else;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Service, except as permitted by law;
- use the Service to violate any law or any third party's rights, or to circumvent any security or access controls;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' data, or our systems.
7. Intellectual property and license
The Service, including its software, design, branding, logo, and content, is owned by Sweep the Slate and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms and your active subscription, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal use. The data you create or upload (such as your team and slate information) remains yours.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously compatible with any third-party platform. Nothing in the Service is gambling, investment, financial, or legal advice, and we do not guarantee any outcome, winnings, or results from your use of it. You use the Service at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sweep the Slate and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost winnings, lost data, or losses arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service or from any action taken by a third-party platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sweep the Slate and its owner from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights, including the terms of any fantasy platform.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service becomes impractical. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
12. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify, add, or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, to the extent permitted by law.
