Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Sweep the Slate ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you use the Sweep the Slate website at sweeptheslate.com and the Sweep the Slate browser extension (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your draft data for advertising.

3. Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of trusted third parties to run the Service. They process data only to provide their services to us:

Each provider handles your information under its own privacy policy.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. The extension uses your browser's extension storage to hold your working data and sync it to your account. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

5. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only: (a) with the service providers listed above so they can operate the Service on our behalf; (b) when required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public; or (c) in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), in which case we will notify you.

6. Data retention

We keep your account information and draft data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your associated data, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, billing records) by law. Stripe retains payment records under its own policies.

7. Your rights and choices

You can access and update much of your information from within the Service, and you can reset or delete your draft data at any time. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask us to stop processing it, by contacting us at the email below. Depending on where you live (for example, California residents under the CCPA, or residents of the EEA/UK under the GDPR), you may have additional rights, including the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising them. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including the security features of our providers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is intended for adults (18 and over) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
